(except when hosed off with water)

wow... you know, even after you acknowledge the massive scale of this thing, there's still a certain amount of "how the hell did they DO this" which comes with seeing this project.

i've got a real fondness for sand sculpture--it's all I can do whenever I'm anywhere near a beach--but I've never been able to pack the sand tight enough to get any real detail in, and I always forget to bring pool siding and all the things they say you should use for that, so bleeee

I think when you get to the point that you're actually sculpting the rocks instead of just using real rocks.... that's when you can say "yes. i am hardcore." you guys rock out loud.

Amazing! Simply amazing! :clap: I've run out of ways to tell you how moved I am by this sculpture. When I clicked on the first iage in this series that I saw, I thought I was clicking on some european castle photography piece. And when I saw this project, it was something so unique and special. I'm totally inspired. What an accomplishment!
