we have to completely finish the first section befor taking off the next form.
and we work our way down.
practically impossible to fix the top towers when its all done.

It's that special 'sandcastle' sand, eh? The kind with grains in a sort of tetrahedron (a d4 if you play D&D) shape so it's really stable when you work with it, right?
